A fantasy trilogy by Jenna Newell Hiott
The Todor Trilogy
Three lifelong friends. Three extraordinary gifts.
One world where everything they believe is about to change.
In the peaceful land of Aerie, three friends have grown up beneath the branches of an ancient tree. But beyond their home lies a world of extraordinary Magic, hidden histories, and profoundly different understandings of Truth. The choices they make will shape the future of Todor.
One story. Three books.
A world where nothing is quite as simple as it first appears.
The Todor Trilogy follows three inseparable friends from their idyllic childhood into an extraordinary struggle involving love, loyalty, power, and the very nature of reality. Along the way, you'll discover unfamiliar societies, mysterious beings, and questions that don't always have easy answers. The full three-volume story is available to read.
Book One
Revelation
Everything they’ve been taught is about to be questioned.
Gemynd, Numa, and Soman have always believed there’s no better place to live than Aerie. Their days are filled with friendship, laughter, learning, and the pursuit of Joy. Even the rules governing their unusual society seem perfectly sensible.
Until the year they turn seven.
That’s when they begin discovering that their peaceful home holds secrets. Secrets about their origins, their extraordinary abilities, and a world beyond Aerie that is far stranger than anything they’ve imagined.
As they grow older, each is drawn toward a different understanding of who they are and what their gifts might mean. Their discoveries take them far beyond the only home they’ve ever known, where they’ll encounter wonders, dangers, and truths that challenge everything they’ve been taught.
And when the three friends come together again, the differences between them may prove far more dangerous than anything they’ve encountered apart.
Some truths change the way you see the world. Others change the world itself.

Book Two
Disintegration
The world they knew is gone. What will they create in its place?
The events that shattered Aerie have changed everything for Gemynd, Numa, and Soman.
Their friendship has been torn apart, the truths they once shared no longer offer easy answers, and the future of Todor is increasingly uncertain.
Beyond the ruins of their former lives lie extraordinary discoveries: unfamiliar lands, hidden histories, ancient powers, and new ways of understanding Life itself.
But the farther they travel, the more complicated their relationships become. Love, grief, loyalty, and the desire to do what’s right lead them toward choices with consequences they cannot fully foresee.
And as the struggle for Todor’s future intensifies, each must confront the possibility that their own understanding of Truth may be incomplete.
When everything falls apart, what is worth holding on to?

Book Three
Unity
Can a world divided by its differences discover how to become One?
The journey that began in Aerie is nearing its end.
Gemynd, Numa, and Soman have traveled far beyond the peaceful world of their childhood. They have loved, suffered, made terrible mistakes, and discovered forms of Magic that challenge their understanding of Life itself.
Now the future of Todor depends on far more than the extraordinary powers they possess.
Old divisions must be confronted. Long-held beliefs must be reconsidered. And the three friends must come to understand what it truly means to choose Oneness in a world where every being experiences Life differently.
The answers they seek will change everything they thought they knew about themselves, one another, and the world they share.
The final revelations of Todor await.

Behind the Magic
Meet Jenna Newell Hiott
The Todor Trilogy came to me one afternoon while I was chopping vegetables in my kitchen.
I’m serious.
One moment I was making dinner, and the next I had an entire fantasy trilogy taking shape in my imagination. Three characters, a world unlike anything I’d encountered before, and a story I knew I had to tell.
Of course, it took years to actually write it. And despite having a pretty good idea where the story was going, the people of Todor managed to surprise me more times than I can count.
In the years since, my own life has taken me deeper into questions about Magic, Spirit, consciousness, and our relationships with the living world. When I recently returned to the novels to prepare their second editions, I was delighted to discover how much of that exploration had been woven into the stories from the very beginning.
I hope you’ll enjoy getting to know this world and its people as much as I’ve enjoyed bringing them to life.
