For those called to serve the dead—and, through them, the living.

WHAT IS A PSYCHOPOMP?

The word psychopomp means “soul guide.”
It names an ancient and sacred role: the one who walks beside the dead, offering healing, clarity, care, and safe passage between realms.

Psychopomps appear in myths and lineages across the world—Anubis, Hermes, Maman Brigitte, the Valkyries. But the work has never belonged only to the divine.

Some are born with the call. Others find it after loss, through dreams, or in the quiet knowing that lingers after a presence brushes past.

You might know this role by other names:
Death walker. Spirit tender. Threshold companion. Light bearer.

In this apprenticeship, you'll learn not just what a psychopomp is, but how to become one in practice—with reverence, discernment, and skill.

  • Assist souls who are stuck due to trauma, confusion, or unfinished ties

  • Work with real-life scenarios like hauntings, suicides, or collective losses

  • Tend to your own nervous system, body, and boundaries in the process

While this course centers on personal and spiritual transformation, you may also find these tools apply to your work with living clients—supporting space clearings, energetic attachments, or the quiet presence of the dead.

COURSE FORMAT

Rest in Death unfolds over seven weeks of guided learning, embodied practice, and spirit-led exploration. Each week builds on the last, creating a sacred container for skill, trust, and transformation.

You’ll receive:

  • Weekly live Zoom calls (recorded if you can’t attend live)

  • Two experienced guides—each sharing a unique psychopomp approach

  • Rituals, guided journeys, and sacred exercises to deepen your connection with the dead and your spirit allies

  • Weekly invitations for solo practice and reflection, so you can anchor what you’ve learned

  • A private space for community sharing, questions, and insight exchange

  • Integration during the Samhain/Beltane threshold week, when the veil is thinnest

This is a living circle of learning—part teaching, part transmission, part remembering.

  • Week 1: Foundations

    Opening the circle.
    Setting sacred agreements.
    What is a psychopomp—and why does the world need us?
    A gentle beginning to prepare your body, spirit, and boundaries for the work ahead.

  • Week 2: Your Relationship with Death

    Exploring personal stories of death and loss.
    Unpacking spiritual ethos around death, ghosts, and the unseen.
    Meeting the Spirit of Death

  • Week 3: Meeting Your Psychopomp Guide

Come to know this work as spirit-led
Connecting with the loving, skilled being who will guide you in your work
Understanding the way(s) your own body and energy feel trust

  • Week 4: Unfreezing Time

    Learn how to identify and tend to fragmented soul moments—those echoes of trauma that imprint themselves onto places, people, or time.
    Through a guided journey and ritual practice, you’ll discover how to gently unstick these moments, helping them move toward integration and release.
    This work touches what many call hauntings—but sees them through the lens of healing, not fear.

  • Week 5: General Psychopomp Work

    Learn how to locate the dead in need of help.
    Practice safe and effective communication with the dead.
    Help guide the dead to where they need to go.

  • Week 6: Exploring Capacity

    Coming to know and honor your edges in this work.
    Exploring ways to bring yourself back into balance.
    Coming into community, not doing psychopomp work in isolation

  • Week 7: Complex Crossings

    Explore real-world scenarios: suicides, disasters, hauntings, and unclaimed dead.
    Learn how to tend spaces, places, and people impacted by lingering spirit energy.
    Understand when to intervene—and when not to.

  • Week 8: Land Clearing and Final Journey

    Understanding that the land is always witness to trauma
    Practicing container hygiene
    Sealing and other final touches

    All sessions are recorded and shared with registered participants. You’ll be able to watch in your own time and stay connected through our private course space.

  • How much does it cost?
    Tuition is $777 USD. That’s approximately $1,190 AUD, depending on current exchange rates.

  • Do I need experience in mediumship or spirit work to take this course?
    No prior experience is needed. This course welcomes both beginners and seasoned practitioners. If you’ve ever felt drawn to the dead, liminal spaces, or the unseen, this path is for you.

  • Is this course safe? Could I open doors I don’t know how to close?
    Yes, it’s safe—and we take great care to make it so. You’ll learn grounding, boundary-setting, and spiritual discernment practices that keep your body and spirit protected throughout.

  • How much time should I plan to spend each week?
    Plan for about 3-4 hours per week—including the live session and optional at-home practices or rituals. Week 6 is more spacious to support integration.

  • Can I use what I learn in my work with clients?
    Yes. Participants may apply it professionally—supporting clients through space clearings, energetic attachments, and death-adjacent spiritual care.

  • What if I’m not sure this path is for me?
    If part of you feels the pull—curiosity, resonance, a quiet knowing—you’re in the right place. You don’t have to be certain to say yes. This work is about remembering, not mastering.
