WHAT IS A PSYCHOPOMP?
A psychopomp is one who guides souls to where they need to go
Other names include: death walker, threshold tender, spirit guide, light bearer
In this apprenticeship, you will learn:
What psychopomp work is, and why it matters
How to build safe, grounded relationships with the dead
Ways to discern when and how to offer assistance
How to journey with spirit allies and divine psychopomps
The ethics and safety of this work (the spiritual OH&S!)
Approaches to supporting stuck, restless, or confused souls
Real-life scenarios: traumatic deaths, hauntings, suicides, and more
How to tend your own body, spirit, and boundaries in the process

You’re a death doula, healer, therapist, or intuitive who walks with the grieving

COURSE FORMAT
Seven weeks of guided learning, practice, and spirit-led exploration, including:
Weekly live calls via Zoom (recorded for those who can’t attend live)
Two experienced teachers, two unique psychopomp methods
Group journeys, rituals, and exercises to deepen your practice
Weekly invitations for solo practice and reflection
A private space to share experiences, insights, and questions
Integration during the Samhain/Beltane threshold week

Week 2: Your Relationship with Death – Personal experiences. Spiritual ethos. Ancient archetypes. God/Goddesses of Death. 2 x Shamanic journeys.
Week 3: Jenna’s Psychopomp Method – DESCRIPTION HERE
Week 4: Sam’s Psychopomp Method – Why do spirits appear to you. Giving messages to the living. Helping spirits go to the light.
Week 5: Complex Scenarios – Suicide, disaster, unclaimed dead, and space clearing
Week 6: Integration Week – Solo practices during the sacred season
Week 7: Closing Q&A + Group Ceremony – We walk together one more time
MEET YOUR FACILITATORS
Samantha Corrie
a seasoned medium, teacher, and spirit communicator with deep experience in both the seen and unseen realms. She brings humor, clarity, and fierce compassion to her work with the dead—and to those called to this sacred path.
Jenna Newell Hiott
Writer, death doula, mystic, and ancestral healer. Jenna has worked with the dead for years, guided by ancient lineages, dreamwork, and the language of Spirit. She is the co-creator of Spirit Connections on Substack and teacher of Sacred Roots, a year-long course in ancestral healing.
